Project Description

WHITE COUNTY, TENNESSEE
Public Assistance, Debris Monitoring and Management

ICE STORM | FEMA DR-4211

Following the severe ice storms which impacted the State of Tennessee in February 2015, White County was among 45 Tennessee Counties to receive a Major Disaster Declaration. Rostan was activated to manage and monitor the removal of vegetative debris from approximately 377 square miles of public Rights-of-Way (ROW) in the County. Utilizing our HaulPass® Automated Debris Management System, Rostan also provided unprecedented rapid reconciliation of debris contractor invoices. In addition, we successfully provided guidance to the County related to obtaining reimbursements from State and Federal agencies, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, relating to the eligible costs arising from the disaster recovery effort.
