Project Description
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TENNESSEE
Public Assistance, Debris Monitoring and Management
ICE STORM | FEMA DR-4211
After the severe ice storms which occurred across the State of Tennessee in February 2015, Cumberland County activated Rostan to assist with their disaster recovery efforts. We were responsible for managing and monitoring the removal of vegetative debris from approximately 685 square miles of public Right-of-Way (ROW) throughout the County.
Rostan provided an array of post-disaster debris management services including truck certification, ROW debris removal monitoring and documentation, debris reduction monitoring and management, debris management site (DMS) oversight, daily operations informational summaries, as well as DMS and project closeout reporting. Optimized by our HaulPass® Automated Debris Management System, Rostan provided unprecedented rapid reconciliation of debris contractor invoices. Rostan assisted the County in its reimbursement efforts from the State and Federal agencies relating to the eligible costs arising from the disaster recovery effort
